"He has the blackest voice from white singers, I ever heard." - told Chuck Berry about Bill in 1986. Bill started a solo career after been a member of the Hobo Blues Band from 1979-1985, after playing in cult musicals like Jesus Christ Superstar, and the 1983 solo-album Bad Blood (Rossz Vér), the Deák Bill Blues Band we know was founded in 1987. From that on, playing rythm and blues, the band has a great popularity, being a frequent guest of hungarian festivals.
